OZEV EV chargepoint grant

The electric vehicle homecharge scheme (EVHS) has been replaced with the EV chargepoint grant which is open to people who live in rental accommodation, or who own a flat. This government grant for EV chargepoints saves you up to £350 per chargepoint installed. To take advantage of this grant you will need landlord permission and your landlord will need to apply for the grant.

Below we breakdown the OZEV EV chargepoint grant for renters and flat owners. To find out more about the other OZEV grants available, click below:

What is the OZEV EV chargepoint grant?

The government OZEV (Office for Zero Emission Vehicles) scheme provides funding towards the cost of installing electric vehicle charge points. This initiative seeks to increase the number of available charge points and in turn the wider use of electric and hybrid vehicles in the UK.

OZEV covers a number of aspects from the EV Charge point Grant, Workplace Charging Scheme, EV Infrastructure Grant, On-Street Residential Charge point Scheme and the Ultra-Low Emissions Taxi Infrastructure Scheme.
